Good luck getting a volunteer fire department. While we're at it let's get a volunteer council and city manager 😜 the intelligence of the people who suggest a volunteer fire department, under the guise of financial savings, is imbecilic at best. Look at who is proposing this!, Same person who cut 24 police and firefighters, expecting to save money, after over 6years of Federal grant assistance. We have very short attention spans in Newburgh, more development, more residents and we cut services and hire a personal lackey for the city manager. Unreal. And really, good fucking luck on that inclusive, ethnically diverse "Volunteer fire department".
