Don't feel right, well said! This political maneuver, spear headed by the Mayor to claim financial savings due to department waste is now being stopped, by removing an engine company from the city. On top of that, now claiming, a recorded biohazard, somehow does not effect fire personell ( secretaries, dispatchers, public who enters, etc)
in the same building, with a shared HVAC system. I remember the council meeting to hire an environmental firm to test air quality, it was bad. Bad enough, for them ( city) to be told to put portable air scrubbers in fire headquarters. We need to stop political posturing, and do the right thing before lawsuits for health matters created by stupidity. Stupidity on the part of the council, to create a safe work environment for it's employees. Ask yourself a question, would you work and basically live in an environment, that has known recorded active mold in said environment? I don't think the mayor would. Tell them to sleep in that shit. Absolutely amazing the intelligence our local government officials have.
A mumbling idiot on a race war, a young Al sharpton for mayor, and the rest of the political misfits we are privelgeded to have. The level of ignorance on this matter is astounding. When the civil lawsuits start being filed, and the council goes into "executive discussion" to handle sensitive affairs of the city, that involve employees. It will be an " I told you so" moment.
