Ha! You're so right. Yet most of these councilpeople brag about "being here their whole lives" when it is because of people like that that this city in the mess it's in. Because they never really left and experienced anyplace else, they're ignorant. They actually believe that Newburgh is a shitty place and doesn't have the power to direct people that they hire to do their jobs. They believe that anyone that wants to work here is doing the city a favor. They have very low self esteem and people like Venning know how to work them. Notice how most of them get even more obese when they get into office? Because food becomes their nappy blanket.
