Robert,

have you been to Disneyland before?
I've been there twice. First time in 88 and though a lot of the attractions were closed at the time (Spring cleaning I guess *lol*) we had a fun enough time.
Second time around was in 99 and boy were we disappointed!!! The park was WAAYYY too crowded, just full of rude people shoving and virtually trying to trample the kids (who said Disneyland was the 'happiest place on Earth'?, at the end of the day we just wanted to kill whoever came up with that slogan), not to mention filthy.
The lines were long and most of the rides either too fast, too loud or too scary for our kids (5 & 7 at the time). It seems Disney hasn't gotten Vegas' clue yet and don't realise family entertainment is the key!
Though we had gotten a fairly good deal on the tickets (3 day admission)we ended up spending close to $1000 incl. hotel and meals... definitely NOT for the budget conscious! They just get you on everything even the water... there are no water fountains in the park all water has to be lugged in or purchased @ about $2 for a small bottle (that usually would cost you 89cents on the high side).

All in all not worth going back to... sorry to say (same btw counts for Seaworld in San Diego). We had more fun at Six Flags and at a much lower cost.
