Prone to addictive behavior, his willpower and resilience have been sharply honed through the years. He is fiercely protective of those he cherishes and loves with a depth that knows no end. He is not self-forgiving and lives with constant shame of his past transgressions. History: Stan spent the only truly good years of his life in Cascade City some years ago. For the first time in his life, he'd fallen on good luck it seemed--he's wandered aimlessly into a nightclub, and had fallen nearly immediately for the owner...a woman who would later become his wife and bear him a daughter. They'd had a beautiful home and were surrounded by a close knit group of friends. He'd been foolish enough to believe that it could all go on like that, happily-ever-after.
