Gen Granberry was born to Norval R. & Nancy (McLaurin) Granberry, one of nine children. Sometime after moving to Texas with his brother Loammi J. they changed their names to Granbury. The General was married in McClennan County Texas under the name of Granberry to Fannie Sims. His sister Nancy Nautilla (Granberry) Moss had letters from him spelled both ways. Watch for Rebecca Drakes book on the General coming out soon it will explain the Generals life in great detail. Check her site listed on this site.
