  I went to BDC with my little brother in the late 1970s -1976, 1977, 1978 - it was in Queens - the Rockaways I think - we used to take the school bus over the Marine Parkway Bridge. They had pinball machines, a dock to fish off of near the baseball diamonds - picnic benches, a big pool and a movie house.
  
  Those were the days!
  
  I also went to Cunningham Day Camp on East 17th Street and then when we were older we went to the Pool on Avenue T and Nostrand Avenue - thats when Brooklyn was the world! :-)
