Chris-

That is funny! You know this works with any kids; grandkids, nieces and nephews, neighbors, kids from church, etc. This could also be fun to do on a larger scale with a Sunday School class or youth group. We used to have lock-ins at the church and watch movies and eat food- lots of fun!! I have always done fun things like this- I used to work at a daycare and we made a zoo. We made habitates for about dozen stuffed animals. My Grandfather had safari hats from WWII, I used one of those and played zoo-keeper. The kids made tickets, snacks, and they made little cards with information about each animal that we had. It was a lot of fun. My Father was a minister and he made a "Noah's Ark" our of Travenol boxes. It was really great and we played animal games and sang Noah songs. This was when I was little and I still remember it. He was so creative. My Mom was creative too- she would make costumes and all kinds of great cakes from scratch. Chris, I think that you could have a party at your house and invite about 6 special kids and have a great time. Show them a Waltons episode, have them dress in clothes that were common for the time and play games that folks played back then. Have fun!

Take care,
DON
