when they tried to show the episodes after having put them
aside for a while and it came up again on some of the DVD's
of the sixth season when part-way through the episode the
picture froze and would not move to the end. After I had heard of other people having the same problem with The
Ordeal episode I contacted Columbia House and they sent me
a replacement. Perhaps that is why Hallmark always skips over that and The First Grandchild episode. I never got the first season DVD so I do not know what the problem may be
with The Crisis ==perhaps they got it fixed before they put that DVD together and probably they fixed the Ordeal problem on the DVD because they were able to send me a replacement that then worked. The Decade of the Waltons is
not a part of Season 8 but it was a separate showing. I have the VHS tape of it there is not a DVD available currently. Perhaps when they get to season 8 they will
be able to include it with the episodes
