This is why I love having the DVDs. I don't watch the show on Hallmark any more because they do skip and also because I love watching with no commercials!!!

I watched The Grandchild just this last week and I was laughing at the part where Mary Ellen wants to have her baby at home on the mountain and everyone else was putting in their 2 cents worth (when did they take the 'cent' sign off of keyboards? and why?) What is this ^? It's on the 6 key and I wouldn't even know how to use that symbol. Well, I digress. I wouldn't have second thoughts at all about having my baby at home if my husband was a doctor and I think it's funny that Curt is all for having it at the hospital.

My husband is not a doctor and I had my 3rd, 4th and 5th babies at home with the help of my husband and a midwife and I loved it. It was quiet and peaceful and it strengthened our love for each other like nothing else ever has. Nevertheless there were plenty of family and friends around to tell us how crazy we were for having home births so I know how Mary Ellen felt.
