Thanks for the contact Glenn - no worries - I am used to owning and riding a classic Triumph so have developed a Zen like attitude to the trials tribulations attached to it. Hope you can make a visit to the Bike Show this ~Saturday. By the way - did not even know that there was a forum on our web site!!!! Our Web master came up to me at club on Thursday and told me there a message on the site! Well done you for using it and alerting me to its existence. I am not an IT person at all so am hoping that I am using it right and this message gets posted!!!

By the way how long did they leave you there - I felt terrible like I was abandoning you when me and bike took off in the other wagon. Got well looked after though and taken home. But you had a really rough day - all hanging around and no money earned. And you must have been starved by the time you got home!

Bad news about my bike though - valve guide has disintegrated and now am basically looking for new head (family always told me I needed one!) and new guides ect. So looks like a long expensive job.

If anyone hears of a head for a 1973 Triumph Daytona please let me know!!!

Take care, ride safely and we will see you at the club whenever you can make it. And when the club starts sorting out arrangements for North West 200 races in Ireland next year you can see if you would like to join in.

Thanks for looking after us and being good company - Dee xxxx
