I recieved an e-mail from a young lady and I wanted to share it with all of you fans. I see this in Gerardo he is such a sweet guy that I was so happy to have recieved this e-mail.

Hi...my name is Desirea'
I am 15 years old and one night my mother and I decided to go for a ride. It was about 2:00AM in the morning, May 2, 2003....I remeber the date because it was PRCA weekend in Beaumont, TX. Anyway as I was saying, my mother and I ended up in the Dixie DanceHall parking lot, and as we began to look for a friend of hers I noticed these guys on the sidewalk. I told my mom to pull over so I could see who it was. That night I met Gerardo and a guy named Spook Wiggins that he was traveling with at the time. Well my mother and I sat in the parking lot and talked to Gerardo and Spook for a good 30-45 minutes I know, and Gerardo even once informed me that I need to keep an eye out for him in the PBR. I didn't take him all that seriously but I still told him I would, and also told him that I would really like to see a nice guy like himself get up there one of these days.
Well now the rodeo is back in Beaumont, TX. But this time it is the PBR Smokeless Tobacco Tour. I got online to see which riders would be there, out of the corner of my eye I spotted Gerardo. I was stunned, and excited for him all at the same time. It is really good to see someone with such a sweet spirit get to go places in things they enjoy and have as much passion for as he does for bull riding. Tell him congratulations and I hope to see him go far. Thanks alot for your time
