I am taking novantrone and I am only 31 years old with an aggressive form of m.s. that i was diagnosed with a year and a half ago. Novantrone seems to have drastically helped slow things down. I am a teacher and I am on a medical leave from work while I try this new therapy. I think novantrone with being able to rest and reduce my stress has helped. I have also used a hair product called nioxin which is designed for thinning hair to help combat any potential hair loss. I think that it may help and if it isn't, at least I have tried. Personally, i have thin hair and I think maybe it has gotten a little thinner, but I am not complaining since it could be worse. My husband doesn't notice any hair loss, but you're always your own worse critic. Good luck to you with your treatments. I wouldn't worry too much about the hair thing either. If you do, maybe ask yourself if you'd rather walk or have hair. That seemed to put things in perspective for me really quickly and also gives me the strenth to face whatever is in store.
