at the sight of the stallion's uneasy agitation, she seeks to steady the atmosphere and ease his tense persona. understandably, he was nervous, and had reason to be so with strangers like herself around. she could identify with that. his feelings were perfectly expected. "easy there, big fella. I won't hurt any of you, I promise" she continues to talk soothingly, almost in a whisper-calmly standing up and reaching out a palm with a stray mint plucked from her jeans pocket. she allows the fragrant scent of the offering waft over the crisp air, not moving forward nor back, simply allowing them to realize she wasn't a threat in any way. a small smile flashes across her features at the sight of the big colt peeking over his mother's withers. he was so cute. "no need to hide, sweetie" she croons, standing motionless with the mint outstreched. "it'll be ok..." she blows rasberries with her lips in a shockingly life-like imitation of a real horse's whicker, invitingly making little chirping sounds with her tongue pressed against her teeth. "you can do it, big boy..." she encourages gently, not rushing him. It could take as long as it needed to, she had all the time in the world.
