The dun stallion lifted his head at the moment he scented the other horses and beinings. Walking over closer to his mares he settles down to eat again yet with more caution.

the frosted mare snapped her head up at the sound of the other stallion. To be honest she wasent totally happy in the herd she was in now. She lent out a shrill cry back and started in the direction of the other stallion. turning her head around she nickered for her foal to join her.

the little buckskin filly heard er mom calling her and trotted along behind her.

watching one of his prized mares head toward another stallion, his body learched(sp) forward after her. After passing her he whipped around and lowered his head within a foot from the ground. He snapped his teeth at her warning her not to go any further.

the gray mare halted quickly as the lead steped in front of her. raising herself to her full height of 15.3 hands, she stomps her foot at him, knowing full well that he wasnt going to let her go with out a fight, with either her or the other stallion. She lets out a winny to the other stallion pleading for help.
