Heard DRUDGE talking about this last night. Today,he has THIS (click here),link to the "developing" (Drudge),story about AL FRANKEN... and some LIBERAL democrats doing TALK RADIO.

You know, there have been a lot of prominent liberals who have tried to make it in radio - Carville, Cuomo, etc. They have all flopped. Now they're going the "entertainment" route, but I suspect it will still flop because the liberals just get too vitriolic- after accusing conservatives of being mean-spirited, Franken was the one who called his book "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot". But the most important issue is sponsorship. Most of talk radio is sponsored by businesses and businesses know what it means when they are overtaxed, when they are burdened with regulations, when they can't find employees that are even passably educated. The only way liberal radio stays on the air is when it is funded with tax money, or money from some liberal patron.
