Subject: Harry Hurley fair and balanced opinion....

I must compliment Harry for making it to the station today,for his willingness to help out those who could call in or web in and for keeping us updated on the emergency situations in the area.

I must now criticize his childish mention after mention after mention of WOND radio you cant depend on. Harry please you sound like a 5th grader who needs to build himself up by constantly putting others down,grow up, your storm reporting was well needed and apreciated and its merits make you a stand out guy so why climb down the ladder a few rungs by constantly name calling throughout an otherwise Yeomans job on a terrible day?

Dear Talkonline.

I think you were really trying to be fair, however, I think Hurley just tweaked the fact that Williams was a non-show just enough. You well know how unfair this station and overall company (TV, etc) has been to Hurley.

He makes a handful of "Radio You Can't Depend ON' comments and you brand it childish. Not fair on your part.

Why not address the merits of his point, don't you agree that almost every time bad weather hits, WOND goes off the air for extended time periods?

This is exactly what I am talking about. Harry could have looked great today but instead he only looked "so-so" because he refers to his competition too much!!! Harry didn't have to mention what everyone already knew, he must think we are idiots!
