Subject: Unsolicited testamonial!

Here is what happened, I went to turn off a light and the wall switch felt warm. I asked two friends who are electricians to give advice and repair it.

That was a week ago. Last night,I noticed that the area was still hot.

This morning,I bit the bullet and called MAINLINE ELECTRIC. They came out within a couple of hours, and the guy (RON) was here all afternoon testing the wires and he even called for a second opinion because there was something really wrong with the wiring. YES-MAINLINE is expensive, but, I have to give them credit, They answer their phone. They show-up. AND even though, cost is a concern, this guy was not going to leave untill he was satisfied that my family was safe. (yes,it was a fire-hazard).

I also recieved some expert advice on lighting, because I am trying to "phase-out" the 100 watt light bulbs. Recommended was the newer "electronic" flourescent (sp?),which use less electricity and are "as bright as daylight." (and no radio-interference like the other kind of fluorecent bulbs)-or that "flicker"-or that "eeerie wierd kind of light" annoyance.
