Subject: WOND Mid-Day

Here's what I think WOND should do...

Drop Rush in favor of Bill O'Reilly.... O'Reilly is only on 12-2pm, so they could give Whitaker an extra hour...

What do you think?

TV-40's loss is our gain. Whitaker has been updating his website DAILY! New interesting stuff everyday. Also, although JEFF was able to handle it, the transition from "opinionated Talk-Show host" to (supposed) "nuteral" news reporter, was a little tricky..... I think that we can look forward to even more of WHITAKER'S personality coming through on his RADIO program, now that he dosen't have to do the news????

In my opinion, as far as TV-40 news is,right now, MICHELLE DAWN MOONEY is the only one that they have who is strong enough to anchor. Wonder if they will be bringing anyone else on???

Great idea. Right now, you can hear Rush midday on 770AM and 1210 AM, and both signals come in okay. I don't see any point in duplicating Rush (though he had a good show yesterday). I would go for O'Reilly, and (sorry if this offends his fans) eliminate Paul Harvey. It's especially annoying to have him come on at the beginning of the 3 PM hour which cuts Jeff Whitaker to about 50 minutes.

I happen to be a BIG PAUL HARVEY fan! (no,I'm not offended RUJANE), and really, I would miss RUSH, but his show is too long for me!

To me,HARVEY,is like THE DRUDGE REPORT of RADIO. He pulls out news that other media isn't giving a lot of time. Good health & medicine reporting. I even like his ads!-(yes,SMART BALANCE is everything that he says!)

As far as "The Rest of The Story",maybe that would be better placed later at night, when most households are quieter????...........I'm always "shusssing" people while I try to guess who "it" is.

love to have O'Reilly instead of Rush, w/ the extra Whitaker. Like rujane's idea of Harvey too, (sorry TOL) I find Harvey worn out. I'm with Mike & rujane, great idea.
