Flabbergasted by one more child getting a trophy? Really? This has been common practice in my 20+ years in Irish dance. How is it suddenly taking you by surprise? And why do you begrudge a child a 9th place trophy? Obviously everyone who can do basic math knows 9th place is not in the top 50%. It's not hurting anyone. -- New England Irish Dancers
