Our family is missing a member. We know she's out there somewhere but we haven't found her yet. We also know that God is involved with ALL adoptions. That he knows when a child is born, who will need a new home, and who won't.
We know that there's a mother, and maybe a father out there that have a child that needs to find a new adoring and compassionate home. Placing a child in another’s home has to be the hardest decision a devoted parent could ever have to make.
My mother’s first born child was being brought up in a very bad, unsafe situation and when a family told her that they would adopted her son, she said, “No”. She told me many times that she regretted that decision. My half brother might still be alive had he been raised in a different environment. His father “played” with guns, drugs, and booze. He beat my mother, beat my half-brother, and killed their spirits.
Her ex died as did my half brother and she remarried. When I was just a little girl, she started taking in foster children. It was her way of giving back to the children that were being “hurt” in the world.
I learned a lot from her. She loved many children and taught me that a child DOES NOT have to come from your body to be your child. I know that to be VERY true.
My husband and I have an adopted son and we couldn’t love him any more if he had been born under my heart.
What can we say? We’re human, with human feelings and faults. If anything I’ve told you causes you to want to know more about us, PLEASE visit the web site below and read a little more.
Our home study is complete and our adoption lawyer is ready. Check out our web page and see if we've the family for your daughter.
God bless!
