Hi, I did the exact treatment you were on the one shot a week (interferon)--6 pills a day (riberferon)---I lasted 7 weeks--I was so sick I couldn't get out of bed/ nausea/ diarhea/extreme flu symptoms/ my white blood cell count was nearly below nothing--my Dr's had quaranteened me, afraid I might catch something, so the cure nearly killed me, I was so dissapointed I had placed so much hope in this cure---it is two months and I am still recovering, but I am GLAD I TRIED.Lesson learned--NEVER STOP TRYING!

Just wanted to say you're very fortunate, as you obviously realize. I went through treatment back in 2001, and was not "cured." I am getting older now, (49 years) and I notice that I am tired much more often than I used to be. I don't have the energy for much more than going to work, and perhaps spending time with my mom, siblings and their families. I am a single woman, with no children. I can't help but wonder how I am going to end up as I continue to age with this disease.
