I was diagnosed with Hep C a little over a year ago.
My girlfrien then, freaked out, left, and then we got back together again 7 months later.
A few days ago, I had blood on an earing from trying to put it back in.
She reached for it on the table and I told to be carefull, remember I have Hepatitis.
The next day she went ballistic, telling me I had put her and her childs life at risk,etc....
I guess the point here is,I need to meet a woman who has Hep C and doesn't think I'm a leper or something. I've never been active. I'v been clean and sober for over 18 years, but did use iv drugs way back. It's still a shock having the reckage of my past affecting my life and the lives of those around me.

I was diagnosed with it over 25 yrs ago.Got it when they gave me blood after having my son. My husband died 2 yrs. ago of a brain anarism. i have been so carefull not to give it to anyone else. But met another guy we were madly in love. I had to tell him. Even though I have never gave it to anyone. Needless to say were done. I guess I am doomed to be alone now.

I know how you feel. I haven't dated in well over 10 years. But now, it's getting old and I am missing someone in my life. I got the Hep C from my ex-husband. Nice eh? I was never promiscuous, never slept around, never did drugs and I'm not even a drinker. I live a clean life style. I will always remember the day my doctor told me I was infected. I try and move on with life as best as I can, but as you know, the fear always creeps up on you. I live in Florida by the way.
