Subject: Well, now see. There is some confusion over this. We didn't actually see him die, we saw him collapse, then Claire and Louis left. Raymond knows a lot about drugs and we don't really know much about Raymond - it is completely within reason that Raymond made a drink that would knock someone out but not kill them, remember in the standards of medicine in those days, Louis' guards might not even have checked for a pulse, just let STG's people take him away. Maybe he did it deliberately because he is with StG, maybe he did it to 'kidnap' StG, or maybe he was afraid he or Claire would have to drink the stuff. One of my pet theories involves StG being very much alive and being the one behind Percy, for good or not I don't know, he wouldn't be the first man to have a deathbed repentance.
