Cup here Darren Jordan has won a shock Cornish recall for next Saturday's vital friendly against Grasshoppers.

The diminutive fly-half, despite playing barely 50 minutes' rugby in 12 weeks, will be reunited with the Cornish number 10 shirt more than three months since he last wore it.

A demoralising catalogue of work and illness - his most recent problem wasnt a lacerated kidney - stalled the OVER 30 year-old's Cornish career on 352 caps.

He has not represented his club since landing a shock injury time conversion in the overseas trip to Sandown & Shanklin, but Jordan now returns to the fold for Dickon Moon's first friendly game as Cornish head coach this season, taking his place in a radically-changed team. Full squad to follow...
