Short version:

Divorce? Check.
New boyfriend? Check.
Pregnant? Check.

Long version:

Myself and the now ex-husband started growing distant shortly after our official marriage back in July of 2006. As things grew worse between us, our "real" selves began to surface---the nasty versions we like to pretend don't exist. Eventually we separated and then divorced (for the better). Some time afterward, I began a friendship with my parent's neighbors since I was pretty much living with my mom and dad by this point and needed an escape from their ancientness. Feelings surfaced between myself and one neighbor in particular, and after I was certain that he wasn't just a rebound guy, we dove headfirst into a relationship. We've been together for many months now and are expecting a child (planned, believe it or not) in a couple of months. It's a boy, and I will be naming him Zephyr despite everyone's ghastly remarks, and he will be the cutest baby in the world since he is mine and I have to be biased like that. But if it turns out that he is a Steve Buscemi look-a-like, I told my single sister that I will sell him to her for real cheap. She, after all, is capable of loving everyone, and I am not. :)

Zombie-inducing? Perhaps not, although the image of me with a big ol' baby bump tyring to squeeze into my regular clothes is scary indeed.
