I've been a fan of yours for many years. You got me thru my high school years. When I came home from school, I played the Escape and Captured albums everyday. I knew every song by heart. I remember in 1983 a friend of mine and I skipped school so we can get the Journey Jam tickets in Miami. We realized after we got the tickets it was general seating. That was funny. It was a great concert though. My first one. I was in 10th grade and loved seeing you for the first time, along with Aeorsmith, Sammy Hagar, Brian Adams. At the concert, my friend and I weaved our way forward through the crowd while the other bands were playing so we could see you in the front row. I was short, so a guy let me sit on his shoulders to see you. Towards the end of the concert, you slapped hands with the crowed, and I got to slap your hand. I don't think I washed my hands for days. That was the highlight of my high school years. I am 37 years old now, and want to thank you for the great memories, for making such great music and having by far the best voice there is. I hope you have a very Happy Birthday. Luv, Sue
