I wonder if anyone else out there has any ideas or rumors about story and other changes to come as the new head writers are installed. As the Rappaports are, one hopes, cleansed from the canvas, I fear that the new writers will only replicate what JFP/McT did: continue to ignore the show's rich history, continue to write without regard for the established characterizations of the pre-JFP OLTL, and simply create yet another batch of brand new characters. Of course, there's also the mistake that one of the new writers made on ATWT: create new characters but link them arbitrarily to old characters, then let the new characters dominate the show. There are plenty of characters on the backburner who have significant history to be used (Larry Wolek, Rev. Carpenter, Rachel Gannon, Carlotta), off the canvas who should return (**DORIAN, Cassie, Herb, Jenny Wolek, **Marco Dane, Tina, Gabrielle, Clint), or way way off canvas who could be resurrected (Tony Lord, Danny Wolek, Mel, Nora's sister Susannah). I'm hoping for the best but not holding my breath.
