Date Posted: 20:15:40 09/19/06 Tue Government- You mentioned going around Grenada in early 2007. HOW EARLY? Is this a mid-winter get away? Will you be doing anything that has to do with hurricane relief? Off the top of my head I remember that Grenada was hit hard by a hurricane that affected about 90% of the island (whatever that means). I was there in 1990 and found they loved Americans. The USA (under President Reagan)kicked the Russians get out of there. The meals always took over an hour. Any news of slightly faster service was jumped on by those in the group I was in. I spent an enjoyable 10 - 12 days there. There was a bombed out hotel I visited. I also saw the largest waterfall on the island. It was about 35 feet high and about 3 feet wide. I would love to go back again. If you go, bring back a lot of mace & nutmeg. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
