Sad News
On Monday night, May 9th, Zzoomama died during surgery. She had had some serious health problems in the last couple of months and had been in and out of the hospital since March. The short version is that apparently her aortic valve had ruptured and was irreparable.
Her daughter Laura (a/k/a Little Ishtar) asks that on May 18, 2005, when Donna will be cremated w/o ceremony, "you take the time to sit back, relax, drink a margarita and tell a Zzoomama story. In lieu of any floral tributes I ask that you donate to the Mira Foundation at Mira Foundation (this link is to a pdf file) it takes $15K to raise a guide dog to training age and so few pass the training, working with the LFN message boards she was able to collect a dog and a half in donations, let's try to get a puppy named after Zzoomama.
There will be a chat at Christina's Woods (http://pub19.ezboard.com/bchristines) Wednesday night, May 18 beginning at 6:30 Pacific time, in celebration of Zzoomama's life.

Thanks to Jaron (and others) who has passed this information on to me. Zzoomama was one of my first archived authors and wrote what is still considered by many as the definitive background story for Michael, despite TPTB.

What to do about La Femme Fiction?? I have decided that I would be open to starting a section where we can save stories that are disappearing. The biggest archive that is fading into Internet Ether is LaFemme Fiction. I am looking for a couple of things: 1) Completed stories from Authors who are currently archived on my site that would be added to their current pages, 2) Completed stories from LaFemme Fiction that are not currently archives in the LFN Storyboard Archives.
I plan on creating a section named: Saved from Internet Limbo or similar. If you are an Author who does not wish your work saved in this way, please contact me. If you would like to volunteer to do salvage, please contact me and we will email about what is needed.
