We have been reassigned to help a Federation Starship the USS EXCALIBER. Our current mission which was to patrol along suspected smuggling routes and intercept if applicable has proven to be a success from certain points of view. 1. We did intercept and observe illegal transactions between Ferengi smugglers and Renegade Klingons. 2. We were able to bring both parties into armed conflict, both sides doing considerable damage to each other. 3. IKS PAGH'HA has slight internal damage from intercepted quantum device. Further damage reduced due to placing all intercepted materials behind level 10 force field. 4. Lt. Cmdr. Lerak, ships Chief Engineer, is missing. Whereabouts are unkwown at this time. Listed as Mising In Action. 5. The Klingon ship has limped off, heading for home as far as we can determine. It has been turned over to the Vor'cha class crusier IKC ROH'MEL for pursuit. 6. Commander Erok led assault force onto the Ferengi ship to secure information and acquire all relevant specifications concerning ships weaponry and systems. 7. At least five of my crew have gone to Sto'Vo'Kor. 8. We have secured all information from the Ferengi ship and destroyed it. We have now set course and are enroute to rendevous with the USS EXCALIBER.
