Subject: Dreams Author: Elizabeth [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 15:11:01 06/14/07 Thu ok, I just got this pretty neat idea i was wondering if any of you ladies (hopefully not any men) have ever had a dream about Robert. I have, but I don't remember any of it. I just thought this could be fun and I also wanted to know if there was anyone else like me or if I'm just the insane one. (PS. I think he was just in the dream for some reason. I really can't remember why. Then there are those dreams that we can't remember because they are not right when we wake. I understand that we dream all night but can only remember the ones that are just before waking. Interesting, huh? So, we could have dreams about him that we simply cannot remember. (I usually have no trouble remembering my dreams; my problem I always wake up just when they start to get good!) I'll tell you a funny one though--I once had a dream I was at my ho-hum boring office job and it was payday, and who should come roaring through the door to deliver the paychecks but Robert Newton in full LJS regalia, cutlass drawn, to liven up the workday. I had a black and white dream abaout him, it was a LONG time ago and I just remembered it!!! But not what it was about. But yea, it was in black and white. Funny, I remember hearing once that if you dream in black and white it's because you watched too much TV as a kid! Well, I read that a while back, when most people had the experience of growing up with only B&W TV. (I remember getting our first color TV set in the '70s and finding out that Lucy had red hair! Till then I thought she was blonde.) Anyway, if that theory is true, I bet kids today never dream in B&W--except for those rare few like us who like classic films. (I mean, think about it--with the exception of severely color-blind people, no one ever saw the world in B&W before the spread of photography and especially motion pictures, so why would they dream it that way.) (Fortunately, "der Fuehrer," as I started referring to him, didn't have quite as much power as the evil Ralph Fiennes character, but he did destroy my career, such as it was.)
