Gimme time! I'm at school from 6:00 AM to 4:00 pm!!!
And besides you've seen more movies than I have.

I think I know what you're talking about Sue. I've never seen Obsession but I think he does (It just sounded like it) it in Treasure Island when they'll all drunk on the ship and Long John comes in and knocks everything off the table with his crutch, then he gets elected as Captain. And he saids "Easy off a point on the rum...here that Agot?!" I think he does it there.

And another time in Treasure Island is when they give him the black spot on a page out of the Bible and he says "Put it back in the good book, maty. Poor (something)(something) the likes of you needs every scrap of scripture he can get." and he looks at one of them beside him and does it.

I'm not sure but I'm off for another 10 hour day! I'll check back during lunch or 4th period becuase in 4th I'm on a computer for 2 1/2 hours!!!

No rush, it's not like this topic is going to be deleted or anything! Just anytime you happen to spot the arm-whack, post it here.

Now are those examples you cited of Sue's eye movement thing? I'm not noticing it (maybe I'm not sure what it is I'm looking for). I'll have to dig out "Obsession" again. (But now that I'm watching TI, I do have to mention another thing I love about him, and it's not a "feature" per se, but I just love the expressiveness of his whole face!)

FYI "(something)(something)" is "roving seamen." And "Agot" is actually "Haggott." (He doesn't pronounce the "H.")

Susan, The best eye-roll scene in Obsession is when Clive has the gun on Storm and Bill and he is sitting at his desk and Storm walks over to call her friend on the phone to ask if she saw them at the concert. Clive is sitting there, I think, looking at Bill and then kind of rolls his eyes up at Storm, of course with an amused look on his face, and then turns his head in her direction (I think I have it right). Anyway, it's something like that. The other one that I mentioned, in his office, is a little different because Storm is behind him and announces about getting a letter from Bill, while Clive is standing there with his wallet still in his hand and the other hand empty, where Storm just grabbed the money from him. He just rolls is eyes over to the side with a confused look on his face. It was a good shot and a typical RN expression.
I know I've seen it in his other movies but can't remember exactly in which scene and which movie. But I'll pay more attention in the future.
