"I thought Agot was the guy's name, Haggott? what kind of a name is Haggott?"

Um, I dunno, British? I just did a Google search, and it's a fairly common surname. I can't remember if it was used in the book, but it's in the end credits of the movie.

Do you have the DVD of "Treasure Island"? Usually they have subtitles. Or you could turn on the closed-captioning on your TV. (Can't guarantee it's always accurate though!)

Have you read the book "Treasure Island"? I think that would help give you a feel for the sailors' dialect they speak. And then just overlay that with Robert Newton's Cornish accent! There are lots of places where he doesn't pronounce his "h"s at the beginnings of words.

Anyway, if there's anything you can't figure out, just ask! I'm sure one of us will understand what he's saying.

Yeah, I'll look for it on DVD, Amazon.com or something, i've seen it there.
You know what Susan? I've been getting on here at school 4 or 5 times a day and it hasn't popped up as "Sexual Content" since. Actually it didn't say "Sexual CONTENT is filtered", it said "Sex is filtered", and I don't know what it found that has to do with that, but these copmuters are so sensitive it's annoying! I was doing a search on Gypsies to do a report on my background and where I came from and my parents are from Romania and there are Gypsies in Romania and it blocked me out. I said "Gypsy" not "Prostitute"!
But it'll let me on now so, no worries!
