Good memory, Sue. I think I just happen to have a screencap from that HC scene handy ... um, but I guess it would be more appropriate to post the address under Kiss Sightings. (It was really hard to get a good one because the scene is so shadowy.)

"Remember that Shell got even with Lukey in the bar. Do you remember that scene??? He apparently gave Lukey a ,not so friendly, 'whack' in a non-mentionable part of the anatomy (I'm trying to keep this clean). It was 'poor Lukey' that time!)"

You know, I don't think I ever caught that until my most recent viewing of the movie--dunno why that one in particular is so hard for me to follow!--but I definitely remember Lukey threatening to do the very same thing to Shel earlier when he's grabbing him by the throat. In fact, if you watch that scene really closely ... has anybody else noticed that his lips don't match up with the words you hear him saying to Shel? It looks like he made a "blooper" and they dubbed the correct line in afterwards. I'm dying to know what he really said! Anybody here good at lipreading?? (I wish my deaf friend who could lipread what all the coaches were saying on the sidelines during football games still lived around here!)

Susan (whack),
(I definitely remember Lukey threatening to do the very same thing to Shel earlier when he's grabbing him by the throat.)
Lukey's line was so funny, "...I'll hit you hard - where it hurts!" He got a dose of his own medicine later on, didn't he? That whole bar sequence was pretty intense.

Thank you, Susan! I did indeed notice that. Oh it would be neat to know what he actually said! Too bad they didn't do blooper reels back then, hey?

OMG, I thought I was just blinking at the wrong time or something!!! I DID notice it but I thought that it was maybe just something wrong with my dvd or there was some kind of a 'burp' in the film. I wonder what he really said? He may have had 'one too many' that day of filming and used a 'not so acceptable' term for hitting Shell there. Wow, I'm going to have to look at that again. Susan, I'm glad to brought that up, I really just thought that it was the film.

"That whole bar sequence was pretty intense."

That bar scene was probably the highlight of the film, in my opinion anyway. It added a livelier tone to a very depressing film. That's our RN. He could always liven up a scene, couldn't he?
