Wow, that's much earlier than me. How come my six-year-old nieces haven't fallen in love with him yet??? I keep working on them! They did say they liked him after watching TI And went around the house saying "Arrr" the rest of the day! But neither of them asked to have his name put on a cake next to theirs. Although I don't think they really could understand a word he said--I had to give them the synopsis as it went along. (And shield their eyes during that once-edited Israel Hands death scene.) Maybe if there'd been a Disney princess in the movie, on the other hand, it'd be a different story; that's all they care about. It also doesn't seem to have occurred to them yet that the people they see in the movies are *actors* rather than actually the characters they play. I've gotta work on that next. Although ... I've been a fan alot longer than just 6, i've known "If sailor tales to sailor tunes..." since I was like 4 Most little girls want to be a princess, but I wanted to be a pirate's wench. I went halloween costume shopping when I was about 8 and I saw a costume that looked like Putiry so i grabbed it and took it to my mom and told her that what i wanted to be. she put it bad and told me it was too big. well i grew up and saw the same one a few years later, it was a barkeep. i'm thinking, "i don't wanna be a barkeep, i only wanna be Purity". she had a tavern, not a bar! i gotta go to school.
