Cody - this was about weapons and equipment. Lon does not thing we can make any inferences about uniforms barring more discoveries - too much of a stretch at this point. I believe there would have been imported cloth being made into uniforms about that time but I would be surprised if they had been supplied to the Army of the West troops yet, especially after examining some of QM returns in depots in MS.

This sure does add to the data base on Brit stuff though! I may bring my English knapsack and tin :-)
