Subject: Houston Depot, Baton Rouge and New Orleans accouterments

Gang - spoke to Butch Meyers last night (it had been awhile) and he is making the entire range of CS accouterments from Houston, New Orleans and Baton Rouge. His data base of examined and measured originals tops 300 CS leather articles (cartridge boxes, belts/slings, scabbards, cap pouches). He has examined personally both HD boxes as well as the cap box they think comes with them. He does excellent work and says delivery time is now 16-20 weeks. Price on the HD cartridge box is $185, other boxes $200. Most cap pouches are $70. Pricey but authentic.

Would be pretty cool to take the field in 2006 with correct Houston stuff, or 2005 at Corinth with Louisiana contractor or arsenal stuff.
