Dear Uncle Tom,
As this unfortunate rumour has now reached the publicity of this board I will repeat for all who care to read what I said to you and Danny the other day. I will NOT fly 5,000 miles or so to wear a damn yankee blue uniform. Occasionally in the UK and to please some of my less partisan comrades in the Lazy Jacks, I will don such a garb under protest. But, in doing so, I have been known to gently hum Dixie under my breath for the entire weekend in order to maintain my true allegiance in a circumspect manner. I also tend to desert at the first available opportunity. So, for the avoidance of any doubt, my uniform and outlook for the Rich Mountain event will represent that with which I am most comfortable. If the confederate side is over suscribed then please my I come as a prisoner!!!
Besides, wearing blue makes me itch.
Very much looking forward to seeing all at Corinth.
