The only guy we lost on the march was a younger guy as well. This short stretch of the legs wasnt even a march per say. I have walked longer from the parking lot to an event it seemed.
Like Doug mentioned nothing like munching on soybeans in the moonlight while the men with chicken guts on their sleeves try to find their way in the dark.
The nice part was even after the march I discovered a few items I could have tossed out and made my pack even lighter.
Id refuse to ever leave behind my tin coffee pot, a man must have some comforts.
