Subject: TMD QM stuff

Was reading "A Confederate Quartermaster in the Trans-Mississippi" last night an was looking at some standard issue uniform and equipment lists that included type item and amounts per year, etc.

I noted "comforts" listed at the bottom of one list. As far as I know "comforts" are what we would call a "comforter" or a filled quilt today. Blankets were not listed on this particular list.

Phil, Danny, KC or whoever - have you seen any QM returns or such that listed comforts with any kind of description? Any civilian descriptions or patterns?

Doug
