Subject: 9th Texas Board

Men,
They have posted a 22 page newletter article over on the 9th Texas website. It should clarify alot of questions about Franklin.
We had a wonderful muster and learned alot of stuff as well as marching, marching and marching so more. Cody wanted to be the ragged barefoot rebel. Worked great in Tennessee but he forgot about Texas fireants I believe?
The men of the Red River Battalion are realy fired up about this event. If Gen'l Griffin had said "Lets march to Tennessee now", Im sure we would already be on the way.
I saw one of the period wagons, not too shabby. I also observed alot of the dress of the RRB and for the most part they look great.
I'll see ya'all in a few weeks....Dusty
