I think its a good idea to have these functionaries names (esp. like Smith the Tavern Keeper!). But also bear in mind that Company B came from at least 18 counties and had nationals of Ireland and Prussia along as well! The most numerous entries are from Limestone (8), followed by Burleson (6) and then McClennan (5) [in the 53 found soldiers out 103]. This is not one of those early war raised companies with everone trotting in from the same town, but a very, very rural group drawn from farms over 100s of miles and leavened with conscripts!
