*She starts to hum quietly, calming baby Bri, who squirms half heartedly and smiles.

*Evan gains entrance to the apartment through Alex's bedroom window, slowly making his way to the door. He slips through quietly, pouring the bottle of rubbing alcohol in his hand onto the white cloth in his other. He walks up behind Alex. Quickly, he grabs her right arm in his hand and fists the cloth over her mouth and nose.

*Alex panics, knowing immediately who it is when the rough hand bruises her upper arm. She chokes on the musky scent of the rubbing alcohol and tears blind her eyes as the fumes raise. Blindly she strikes out, but he is crouched behind her and out of reach. She watches Bri with contempt for the man behind her as her world blacks out.*

*As Alex falls limp in his arms, Evan debates taking her too, finishing what he started. But he doesnt. He just wraps the blanked around Bri and scoops her up off the floor, disappearing from the apartment.*

*Awhile later, Alex coughs, then turns over on the couch, coughing loudly to clear her throat. She realizes what happened and springs off the couch, bursting into tears. She quickly sprints out of the room, heading for her brothers apartment.*
