Tyre choice is coming up - as we do not know the conditions in advance (% gravel / % asphalt / % sand), may I have a general option on tyre choice ? Will standard street tyre cope with the gravel ? We are thinking of sending out a set of YokoA035 or MichelinL040 to Algericas to mount them just before entering the ferry... but I am not really sure about tyre wear of these *really* soft ones.

Stefan,

What ever you put on keep them nice and thin as I don't want you getting in the way as I pass you!!!

I would say a good set of road tyres will be fine.

Regards

James
