James, re. temperatures in North Africa. This question was also asked by Nigel Brooks of NG Cars who is keen to take part.

The temperatures for the region and for the month of October are shown on the Michelin map 742 (to order from the Map Shop, Tel: 01684 593146) approx. 80f. When we recced in 1997 we had no problems with overheating in the standard Reliant engined Liege (nor on the Agadir Rally in the same car). If your car cooling system works alright on a hot day in England then it should be OK in Morocco.
