Tara nodded and hung back while the good-byes were said. She kicked nervously at the ground, for she was unsure what to do or say; a feeling of guilt seizing her emotions. "Good bye you two, feel free to stop by anytime. You know where we'll be," Tara chimmed in what she hoped was a cheerful, comforting voice; for she knew the difficulties of parting with a beloved equine. Holding the lead rope of Charmer in her own hands now at the barn she called home, it all seemed official; he now belonged to her. Watching as Claire and her father's car departed, Tara heald the lead with a small amount of firmness, "Don't worry about them," She whispered to the handsome gelding, "Everythings going to work out. You'll see." Her delicate fingers found their way to the neck of Charmer, lovingly stroking the mahogany pelt.
