The male dog sat at his post station beside the bench under a large maple somewhere along Roseway's long, elegant driveway. In such good weather, he had had enough experiance to know that today would be a visitor attracting day. His eyes landed upon his good friend Happy and his female Val, who Rex had also befriended way back when- but before he could trot over to intiate a "long-time-no-see" greeting a new scent caught his attention; the scent of a stranger and another canine. Too many bad experiances with misfit canines refused to let him ignore the prescence and he barked loudly, sounding the "intruder alarm" as he and his partner Duty had come to know it as. He loped foreward, two tone feathered fur rippling along his sleek body. Lowering his large head, Rex narrowed his intelligent eyes on the strangers; releasing a menacing growl before barking once more to alert his mistress. He knew the one called Christine who sat not so far away, perhaps even she could be of assistance in this case.

[Hmm.. Do you live at Roseway? I believe their purpose of posting at Roseway and not the livestock joining board is to remain at Roseway, just under different ownership. Excuse me if I'm wrong.]
