Jules slid the bit into Red's mouth, pulling the headpiece up over her ears. She adjusted the buckles quickly and tested it with finger width to see if it would be a comfortable size for Red to wear throughout a ride. Removing the crossties and the dangling halter, Jules listening to them smack lightly upon either side of the aisleway. She gave a gentle tug at the reins of Red and clucked, asking her to follow her to the base of a trail near the Misty Forest.
