Electra's movement was just as cautious as she took a ginger step foreward, ears pricked foreward. When the gate between them was opened, she stepped through, head lowered in a sign of submission; or else an effort to greet the mare, she stretched out her muzzle, attempting to catch the other's scent.

Imp nickered eagerly and pranced along at her dam's side, nipping her golden flank. She couldn't understand why the motions were so slow. Seeing the colt, she tossed her tail over and called out to him with a high pitched foal like whinny.
